    Hi every one!
My tank is great! I just noticed a bunch of these wierd little white cocoons all over the place. Inside the skimmer, on the backs of the power head clips there are a million. They range in size from 2mm. long and 1mm. wide. To 5mm. long by 3mm. wide are they good bad or indifferent? What are they? Where did the come from? Some live rock I got had bigger green cocoon lookin' things with a kinda hole in the middle of them. Did they come from that?
                            thanks , D.

thats probably it most of mine had a tuft on the end a couple of the smaller ones didnt. when i got a few they exploeded in population but then thinned out again. its just a sponge is all a harmless filter feeder. it seemed after they thinned out i got other sponges yellow, white, and looks like a small orange one forming

Those perticular ones are calcarious, if you've got elevated phosphates it will hinder they're growth. I've got those things coming outa my , well you know.
