    It's gobi, I am pretty sure. But what kind? Watchman? We can't google any gobi photo that matches it.

    Idea?

    Crazy looking goby. Kinda looks like a grouper print. If it stays small would look good.

    It's kinda ugly IMHO, in a uniquely good way (if that's possible). The shape looks like mini whale. I saw this little guy in nearby LFS with no information, he is sticking to the rocks/reef most probably reef safe. Pretty cheap too. Could be rock goby?

    Oh some things to be thoughtful of; This is a type of scorpionfish and has poisonous spines.

    Always wanted one of these fish ;-) I watch a couple rare fish threads on 'other' forums but my real knowledge comes from every day watching the DD realse list. I never miss a day and always click on fish I haven't seen before.

    I think your stock will be ok, just something to think about when handling.
