    I got this at a frag swap a month ago but don't remember what it is. Not sure how to care for it. The bottom edges are starting to turn white. [​IMG]

    chili pepper monti. moderate-high flow and light. White is either tissue recession or growth.

    I have it on the sand bed. May need to raise it up in the tank. I'll get a better pic tomorrow when the lights are on.

    Does the white at the bottom edges look like it's growing or bleaching out.

    Actually it's a nice piece. Not all Montipora grow at the same rate. I sucked at SPS for along long time. Just keep your water quality and chemistry in check with adequate lighting and it'll eventually happen.

    I love SPS but haven't tried many due to not having a sump on my system. Just a HOB skimmer and water changes. Chinese black box LEDs
