    Any ID on this stringy clear stuff coming out of a small hole in my LR?

    I think it could be a spaghetti worm? :-/

    If it retracts into the rock I think it is a ctenophore (comb jelly) how ever you spell it ;-)

    It does retract into the rock. they are good right?

    Anything un-reef safe about it? what does it do that is beneficial? (just curious to learn :))

    ahhh nasty little snot suckers...i usually crazy glue the top of the tube shut...they are fairly harmless snails though they can be an irritant to many corals causing them to retract...

    spaghetti worm i have like 5 of them thats what they do they scavenge a lot to keep the tank clean!
