    Just got back from the LFS who had this mystery coral in one of the tanks. The owner called a Solapora .... which, of course, I can find no reference to anywhere. Which one of you coral aficionados can help me? :yaknow:

    looks to me like some cool green maze brian...but almost like a cuppish shape...awsome!

    Well, if there had been a prize, I would have to take it for myself!

    This is a coral of the genus Merulina. It's a reletively common lagoon dwelling SPS species. This beauty sounds like a lousy choice for the average reefer, though. ::)

    Figures it's a hard coral to keep, it's too damn cool! :eek: 8)
