My Angler Fish seems to of caught a disease/fungus on his foot. Any idea what this is? Or how to cure?

    Thanks for any help!

    I've changed my name :)

How long have you had him? Is he eating and acting normal? I would guess a bacterial infection. Can you easily get Furan2? Any background info you have may be of help.

    Thanks for replying!

My Angler's appetite seems to of been affected. He used to eat a frozen fish every couple of days. Now He will only eat live fish every 2-4 days. Won't even look at frozen food. Seems less energetic about eating.

The growth on the fin seems to be internal. It is really white under the skin. Would Furan2 be a good choice for internal infections?

    Thanks,
    Warren

Yes, it's good for internal infections. The change in feeding behavior usually indicates a decline in health.

Thanks for the advice. Will get Furan2 and will start treating. He just ate a goldfish tonight...so I am hopefully to save him/her!

    Appreciate your help!

When he's feeling better, then we'll talk about diet :)
