Usually that's how they reproduce. What kind of anemone? How long have you had it?

Hi, from other forums I have been told that I have what some say is a invasive nuisance bubble tip mojano. They have told me to kill it. But I quite like it alot, the color is very pretty and besides my tomato clown just loves it at his home.
This morning when the lights came on I noticed it had split into three pieces. They have moved to different areas of the rock it was on. Mr Tomato is not happy now as he cannot host in it until it gets bigger again. But still guards it.

I have had it for about 2 months now. I sure don't mind if it spreads as I don't have many corals in my tank at the moment. I have a mushroom that is spreading and another mushroom doing the spreading thing too. My newest thing in my tank is a nice piece of xenia that has several little ones starting on it too. I would like to add more rock to my tank and then get something else in there too.
All takes time and MONEY :)

    My tank is:
10 gal been running for 8 months now
    1 tomato clown
    1 green chromis
    2 small hermit crabs
    1 snail
    mushrooms, xenia, bubble tip (mojano)?

Ha! Time and money. Too true.

DId the HELP FAQ links I posted help you?
I'd like to see some pics of this Mojano.

If that's what it is, it may be splitting a lot.
How many are you comfortable with?

Hey Matt, I'm not familiar with this animal but I have read they are a pest like Apstasia, is that correct?

That's what I've heard and reading his post, so has Bugsy. That's why I asked him how many he is comfortable with. I was thinking we should ID it though first.

Oh I see, subtle sarcasm LOL

Tell me, are they pests because they multiply so rapidly or are they a danger to other inhabitants?
