    LOL... People just remember when LEDs are discussed, we are talking about LED lighting for growth & not moonlighting LEDs.. ;) We have had people mistakenly thought that moon LEDs would work..

    That would work, just make sure it's for saltwater & not freshwater.. The spectrum is not the same.

    i know how you feel, you want to put and anemone in your tank for your clown, i would to, it is true that some anemone's will live longer than others in a reef tank with improper lighting, i would like to tell you that you can keep them but, i can't, a 29g tank w/2-24 watt lights just ain't enough light for anemone's of any kind, you barely have 2 watts per gallon even if you could get the nem to live at the top, which he want, it just is'nt enough light. invest in more light, i use as a rule of thumb 5 watts per g if the tank is deep over 2 foot even more about 7 watts per g. give the coral a fighting chance and they will live.

    Bubble tip or a carpet anemone. Do not get a Cody, I have heard horror stories of codies eating clowns..

    Cody are mean and will eat anything they can get a hold of.

    what about Long Tentacle Anemone (Macrodactyla doreensis)?

    I would go with bta. Carpets get huge! Also bta's are one of the easier nems to keep.
