Acclimated my bta but has been hiding for a full day now, how long should i leave it alone before I need to move him out? Is this normal for them to hide. Also its under t5's 4x54w in a 55 gallon. Thanks for the help.

It will go where ever it wants when ever it wants to.Don't try to move it out of fear of doing damage to it.

It will find a location with the amount of light it likes/needs and stay there for a while or for good.

Then it'll move out of that spot.

update its been three days with a bta, still in the same spot looks inflated normal still. Also my clown fish found him and is trying to host, is this a good sign for the anenome?

You are 100% right! K+ It will move depending on light & water flow. If it's still hiding after about 3 days or so, you may need to adjust the water flow away from that area.

I'm sure the clown is happy but it is not necessarily good for the anemone. sometimes the clowns can rub too much and stress the anemone. especially if the anemone is small in comparison to the clown. However, there is not much you can do about that. I would just leave the anemone alone to find its preferred spot.
