Am I ready I add fish?

Thank you! I'm at about where you were when you started this post (little behind). I added my live rock and hoping to get my frags and Damsel Saturday! I know that's not how you did your cycle, but I'm close to a fish like you were. Too bad not some clowns though

 

Have you been testing the water? Did you add an ammonia source to start the cycle?

 

Damsels are not good first fish. Yes they are hardy but they are also mean. Anything added after could be a subject of intense bullying. Why can't you he clowns. If you tank is good enough for a damsel it should be fine for a clown.

 

I'm going with the guy at the store. The Damsel is $6, clowns are $25ish. Say something goes really wrong a I lose the fish... I'd be losing a fish I'm returning to them anyway and not a fish I want to keep. Like I said, the Damsel isn't permanent.

Sweet! And I'd get a clown if you can. They are just as hardy as damsels. And there in the same family!

I say get the clowns. Your water would have to be REALLY bad to kill them,
