alk recipe 1 and baking soda

    Any reason I can't add dry baking soda mixed w/di followed by enough recipe#1 to help keep the ph stable not going over .5 meq in 24hr, running lime ato and no dosing pumps at this time. It's tricky but done it the last two nights for good or bad. It's working and alk is coming up to where I need it after the water change last weekend, hate wc cause my alk always drops and so hard for me to get back up.
