    Alien fish or just weird mutations....too much to think about at 4:30 AM, but scary none the less.....turn on speakers!

    I think these have to be a mutation but none the less I think I won't go to far out in the ocean. LOL

    All of that stuff has been identified and classified. The last one, I actually caught on off the beach in FL a few yrs ago. It freaked us out, we didnt have a clue what it was. My dad said it was a "skate", we thought he was full of it, but he was actually right, lol.

    Platyrhinoidis triseriata (common names:guitar fish, banjo shark, skate, shovelnose etc etc)

    Looks like that thing would be a realitive of the "rays" , but distant...lol,
    weird looking thing.

    The head of a ray, the body of a shark. It was about 4 feet long and we didnt have a clue what it was at the time. My bro lived on the beach in Ft Walton Beach when he was stationed at Eglin, and we would go fishing at night on the beach.

    Most of those critters in the video are deep water critters that are rarily seen. That 6 gill shark, I remember when that video came out a few yrs ago, it came up from the deep to die and they got video of it before it died, the first time anybody ever video'd one.

    Watch Blue Planet's: The Deep, and it shows most of those critters. My favorite is the "Dumbo" octopus...
