Algea?

    What is this growing on the left side of my live rock any ideas? Thanks

    If you are wondering about the green stuff along the sand bed, then it looks like chaeto algae. Good stuff, will help remove nitrates and other nasty stuff from your water. keep and eye on it though, if it turns out to be grape caulerpa it will tank over your tank. The chaeto is generally free floating.

    Not that the fuzzy looking stuff on the left side of that rock. I have a fuge and no sponge on my return thats why i have peices of cheato dont mind it not that itll make any diffrence in nutrient export.
