My live rock has a light green algae on it. It is hard if i touch it and stays on. Is this a type of coraline?

Is it in patches or, just coloring the rock?

Probably dude. Coraline comes in so many colors it's not even funny. Your water chemistry will dictate the color. (don't ask for details because I don't know) It's a wierd deal. Also your light spectrum and power will influence color too. I've noticed in my two tanks that the coraline under the MH isn't quite as purple as the coralline in my pc's
