algae & new bulbs

    couple of weeks ago i put in new phoenix hqi 250 bulbs, now i have film algae all over my base and glass dont seem to remember the 1st set doing this is this normal and will go away when they burn in or maybe something else is up did not have this prior to new bulbs

    I wouldn't worry about it. It's probably everything in your tank reaching equilibrium with the new lighting.
