I've seen plenty of tanks with a DSB and no algae where the sand meets the glass. Any suggestions how I can accomplish this? I've got crabs, worms, cucs, sea serpents, you name it but nobody works this area. Want to you guys/gals recommend?

I make do with the scrub pad careful not to get sand between it and the glass BUT...

I hear a rubber spatula is the key.

I use an old credit card or a plastic scraper on a long stick of wood I got at the LFS.
