I've got a new green hair algae outbreak. My clean up crew(snails and hermits) won't touch the stuff. Aside from getting my chemistry back in order, will an algae blenny aid in this problem?? MY nitrate and phosphate are 0,however, I know that there still may be phosphate in the system that the algae are consuming rapidly. My LFS just got one of these guys in and could easily obtain it if it will help.

All depends on what kind of algae. Got any pics?

I didn't realize there were different types of green hair algae. I'll try to post a pic this weekend.

If it's true hair algae the blenny will clear it out but be careful once it's clean they can starve.
