I was just wondering about the use of air stones. I happen to be on oxyger 24 hours a day......due to having my phrenec nerve and brachial plexus nerve group getting stretched by a surgeon during a surgery. I was wondering what effect it might have on my reeh inhabitents. Super oxygenating the tank. I have 3 large liguid oxygen tanks that get filled every other week and 3 or 4 liters a hour would be no problem. Insurance pays and its the same cost wheather I use 5 litres or 10 an hour. The air that you breath has 20% oxygen and the air that comes from my tank has 90% straight. Just wondered if anyone has tryed this to see what it does to health of algea and coral of fish. Might be intresting to see what happens over time. Although I think air stones look lame in a reef tank. I like things to look as they would in the ocean.
