    ok i got a 75 gal with a 3/4" overflow drain to my sump, on the sump i have a gen-x pcx-30 water pump, and 3/4" tubing throghout. ok the problem is the overflow cant keep up with the pump... what do i need to do?

    you can place a ball valve in and reduce the flow to the DT

    You need to reduce the flow. Buy a ball valve for the return pump.

    p.s.... my floor is really wet lol i forgot the pump will act as i siphon when i shut it off... can u guess what happened?

    hahahaha we have all had that problem one time or another!
    I would recommend either drilling a hole right above the water level in the return... OR sticking a small thin flexible tube in there to create an air break when the siphon is initiated.
