aggressive dottyback help!

    tried catching it in net just swims off:angry: how can i remove without stripping tank, have new home for it wont let purple firefish or yellow goby swim anywhere in tank! please help

    Its not aggressive its a dotty back :) You can buy good fish trap also all really should have one around I always have one on hand..Traps are like a wheel puller when you need one nothing else will do. Buy a good trap as there will always be a fish in need of a good flushing.

    I caught my yellow tail damsel by seeing where he sleeps, then netting him when he was sleeping, worked pretty well, of course you need to be able to get to where he is sleeping with a net

    Pseudochromis aka dottybacks are the devil! I had an "Emperor Devil Dottyback" and it terrorised my tank until I finally got rid of it. I caught it while it was feeding.

    My wife wants a dottyback. No. And a good fish trap is not that expensive.
