    After being treated in a copper based medication do you need to rinse fish before putting them back in the DT?

    when I have done this, I place maybe 1/4 bucket of QT water in a 2 gallon bucket along with fish, then drip in DT water until bucket is full

    then using different net (thats never been in the QT) I transfer fish from bucket back to DT

    I then throw away the contents of the bucket and top up the DT with new SW
