The true lumen pro led strips are really made to supplement other lights that you may have. Also the fusion strip seems to be just the right wavelength to grow diatomic algae in my tank. Have you looked at par 30/ par 38 bulbs? Maybe 2 par 38s

I'd check out ecoxotic.com for their LED stuff. For skimmer - you planning to run a sump?

    ledtric for par bulbs
    rapid led for DIY
Ecoxotic, Kesill, Orphek, etc are good for pre built led fixtures...
GU10 led bulbs on EBAY work well to... What corals are you going to keep?

Personally for a frag tank I wouldn't run anything but the tank, light, powerheads, and some shelves. Don't really need anything else.

I have 3 ecoexotic par 38's, 2 18K and 1 12K suspended on a DIY PVC bar 14" off the water surface on my 29 gallon frag tank. I run 2 power heads and a hob skimmer/fuge with chaeto. I have maybe 30 pounds of LR and 1 cinnamon clown fish who has gotten to be huge as well as lots and lots of brittle stars and some snails. I think a cuc is still necessary in a frag tank. I have mostly zoo's and a huge devil's hand leather but I do have a false bonzi acro and a birds nest unter the lights that are doing well.

Maybe everyone's definition of a "frag tank" is different, but with invents, fish, liverock, you have a reef tank, not a frag tank.
A frag tank is for growing or recovering corals which have already been fragged in preparation for sale or trade. There really is no need for anything else in the tank other than what's necessary. You really don't need rock, sand, filtration, CUC, or anything else like that. In fact, adding these things can be counterproductive.

I would always keep a CuC, but that's just me. I would want the tank to be as clean as possible to make it look better for the buyer.
