So I would like to add a few more LEDs to improve my spectrum.

    I currently have:

    Violet - 410-420nm x3
    Royal Blue - 450-465nm x10
    Blue - 465-485nm x4
    Cyan - 490-520nm x3
    Cool W - 5000-8300K x6
    Neutral W - 3700-5000K x5

    I was looking to add:

    Green - 520-535nm x3
    [STRIKE]Red - 620-630nm x3[/STRIKE]

    My other options are:

    [STRIKE]Red Orange - 610-620nm
    Deep Red - 650-670nm
    Warm White - 2600-3700[/STRIKE]

    Thanks for the help.

Also is it true that Red (575-650nm) can cause corals to brown out?

It looks like Red is a bad option, it can grow algae ect.. I might just add green to complete my spectrum.

    Any input?

IMO, the reds stand out find without dedicated LEDs. Try looking at very low UV LEDs, somewhere around 390-400ish nm.

I did find some UV in that range but they run at 500mA, I need to find ones that run at 700mA, I don't want to blow them.

Thanks for the help so far guys, I am thinking Green(RapidLED) and lower range UV (LED Group Buy)

You have almost the same led setup as I do, minus the 398nm LEDs. I have both the regular violet and the 398s.

Leave the violets in, add the 398s, and wait a few weeks. The 398s are very dim to the eye, but if you hold your hand directly under them, you can feel the burn! If you still aren't satisfied, add the cyans.

If I already have (Cyan - 490-520nm) currently in my system should I even go ahead and add (Green - 520-525nm)?

I think 3 is enough, that's what I currently have for each of my supplemental LEDs.

Thanks again, once I hear back from you I'll place my order tonight.

I just placed an order for (Green 520-525nm) and (UV 398nm), the gf wanted to go to sleep so I just hurried and placed.

Thanks for the help, let me know what you think about the green.
