Hey all, I understand adding a sump is for adding water volume. I'm thinking of doing this but I have a couple questions. First off do sumps normally have lr and live sand for added filtration, wouldn't this cause a spike? If it is just water would that also cause any sort of spike? And, could someone point me in the direction of a site that has the equipment I need..i.e pumps, hoses...I'm thinking of using a rubbermaid (I've heard of it done before). And how would I heat that if it was plastic? Thanks!
