Hi guys, im new to this forum and I have some questions. Well first off I just got a JBJ nano-cube cause for a nano you can't beat curved glass. but the light died out within a day so not only am i replacing that but im ordering another light, so thats the background
12G tank, inch of live sand, going to be about 15lbs LR.
so should i use activated carbon? i will be doing weekly water changes of a gallon and therefor woun't skim (that and the 100$ id cost me) but whats the general consensus about carbon?

if your planning on weekly water changes you would be ok with out using carbon, there are alot of people the dont use carbon anyway but some do. i use it and see no harm with it
