    scientific name or common name?

    Is it ORA or anything like that...

    Common name will work, no its not an ORA. Just would like to know what to call it other than the purple acropora. Unless that's it lol...

    I hate to disagree with people and I feel like a real ******* doing it, but it looks more like an A. austera to me.

    I have one and I just call it purple austera. one of my all time favorites

    alright... if thats what you all honestly believe then I secede.
    but i just cracked open my copy of corals of the world by Jen Veron. I still think austera but im not going to argue since I know you guys have been in the hobby longer and probably have a lot more experience with naming.

    No problem could very well be a austera. I tend to go with the shape of the corolites and then popularity or how common they are
