I currently have an Aquarium Systems kit that I used years ago, with up to date test packets. It does a good job of measuring nitrate in increments of 10 but I want to get accurate measurements between 0 and 10. Any recommendations?

    Thanks,
    John

Well the best test kits are Elos and Salifert. I use API and like it, haven't had a problem with it yet.

I have Salifert test kits across the board. However, I hear the Elos brand is better for Nitrates.

i find elos and salifert to be the same as far as accuracy.. they both read the same values on an identical water sample. Although i find saliferts nitrate kit easier to use so i guess id vote salifert for nitrates.
