    As I mentioned in another thread I'm going to get some mushrooms and maybe some green star poyps this weekend. How do I acclimate them to the tank? Same way you would a fish?

    Both those coral a very hardy, acclimation shouldn't be too intense. I'd say the most you should dois, float them for 20 minutes or so for temp to get the same, then take a cup of water out of the bag and replace it with a cup from your tank. Wait 10 minutes and repeat this a few more times. Acclimation for most corals begins at the LFS as most wholesalers don't acclimate corals. GSP's are even shipped damp, they can take a lot and keep on ticking not even missing a beat!!!
