Acans generally prefer less light and a light to moderate flow. If they close up or don't look happy, move it to the bottom. If they don't want to eat, they are not happy. The purple and green ones tend to like a little more light, the red ones tend to like less light. They can be sensitive, so if something doesn't seem right, ask questions ASAP.

Thanks This little guy seems to be doin good, other than the back half of him got destroyed because my bubble coral stung it to death.. It did it when it was in the biocube, I didn't notice till it was too late, its already growing back though :) I think it will be fine He is placed in the middle of the tank with moderate flow. I will keep an eye on him.

That one looks very similar to mine. The one I have enjoys mysis and brine about twice a week or so and grows at a decent rate bc of it. Their color intensity is a good indication of how much light they are getting. I had mine up a little higher and it was a very light green and then moved it down and it darkened up to a deep forest green. But it was still very healthy at both locations.
