I bought this coral 2 months ago and it was sold to me as a purple and green acan but I always questioned it as it looks a bit different than my other acans. Its been growing quicker than my other acans. I bought it with 2 heads and now there's 6. I'm thinking its a blastomussa merletti? What do my fellow reefers think? Sorry for the crappy phone pic. Thanks guys.

I have several blasto colonies (and one acan). The pic is a bit blurry but that looks like a blasto variant to me. IMO, blasto flesh looks softer than acan flesh, more bubbly like.

Blurry pic, but agreed that it does look like a blasto.

I agree too, but dang that image is altered. First time I looked at it, it looked like a Candy Cane.

It looks so different than my acans though. I have 4 different acans and besides the color they look the same. I'm stumped.

I thought it was a Blasto in the first pic because it looked puffy, but looking at the second pic, I'm thinking it's an Acan.
