Acan growth experiment/ Update 8/17/10

Hey everyone, here is the acan frag I've chosen to try and colonize. I'm going to take a picture each month and see how, if any, new heads have grown. The placement will be in the middle of my tank. Feeding will be a mix of brine, mysis, and phytomax.;D

nice this will be interesting to observe! Just to clarify tho, what lighting are you using and how often would you be feeding?

What also would be interesting to see, is if you had two acans. And one was sustained on light alone and the other on both light and food. it would be interesting to see the difference in feeding can make to growth rate....

 

If it grows new heads soon my birthday is June 14th....hint, hint

Whippy LMAO! Phoenix, I have a 48 inch 250 watt aqualight pro. I like your idea on doing two different frags. I'll likely try that in the future. Feeding will be once daily.
