I found this video of a truly incredible coral tank and noticed a rather interesting coral in the video. After searching through lots of coral pics on the web looking for similar skeletal structures and colorings and I still have no idea even what type of coral this is, none the less what specific variety it might be.

Closest looking types I could come up with was maybe some kind of Encrusting Montipora or possibly a Leather with its polyps retracted...(???)

Anybody out there take a guess!

(If it helps any the original HD youtube video I saw this in can be seen: Here)

I bet it's a toad stool or other variety of leather.

Saw that video before. That cave idea with the blue light is awesome. Always wondered how they did it.

And yes looks like my Devils hand when it is shedding

A-hah! I just searched through both "Sarcophyton" images and "Devil's Hand" images and I can definitely see where everyone's coming from.

The one thing that was throwing me off though is that everything seems either green or yellow-ey beige/tan, but that video guy looks notably Blue-Gray. Could that just be a trick of the lighting or is there some special/rare variety that actually are blue?

( This was about the closest I could find to matching color-wise and that one is just mentioned as being a "Devil's Hand" )
