I am looking to create a canopy for my 90 gal. I want this canopy to hold my 48" Coralife Aqualight Pro Fixture. Im thinking that the fixture will simply slide into the canopy and the face will life up for access. Any thoughts? or suggestions? photos will absolutely help me? Thanks in advance.

I'll post some photos of my canopy later... That's essentially what I did.

Two fixtures that I already had sit on the tank with the canopy enclosing them.

Things to consider that I did...

    1) I cut air vents to match where the air fans were on the fixtures.
    2) Access is a bit tight because of the room the fixtures take up. I have the hinges on the canopy folding up the front face and about 1/3 of the top to give me better access.
    3) I have a fan in the back of the canopy tied to my chiller so that when the temperature goes up the fan comes on with the chiller.

    Pics later
