I'm so scared, I got home and my 9 year old blue damsel is laying at the bottom of the tank on one side breathing heavily with a really puffed up belly. I fed some frozen brine and mysis shrimp to my damsel last week and am worried that maybe the damsel caught something :(
My tank is a 25 gallon acrylic and the damsel has been the only fish in there for the past 9 years.
There are 3 pieces of live rock with a lot of stuff growing on them and one ornament as well.
If anyone has any suggestions on what I can do to try to save my fish please write!
So far I have added a second bubble stick to get more oxygen to the fish and changed the filter cartridge to a sponge fiber instead of the plastic with charcoal to get more water flow.
