76 to cold?

    I keep mine at 77-78 it seems to be a good temp.

    ok i believe i have my temp set at 77, maybe with it being colder in the house i will be ok with slightly raising the temp

    Well one of my heaters messed up again lol and my temps has been at 73.. Everyhing is ok but I'm still in a hurry to get the heater! And I haven't been able to go an buy it :( stupid car! I think the range is from 70-80.. ( thats the green part in the thermometer).

    for me 76 is totally fine.. like the other person said one heater broke i didnt know i was running 73 for a whole month.. nothing happened.. everything is fine.. i got some torch, xenia, mushrooms, pocilloporam, monticaps, birdsnest, and so on..

    I run mine from anywhere between 78.5-79. Everything seems to have no issue with it and loves it a little warmer... I have been keeping an eye on the tank though with the massive temperature drops at night here in WI to make sure the tank doesnt drop :)

    that's the normal temp for my tank, i don't know why the temp is so low today

    IMO, the warmer the tank, the better. I keep my tank at 80F.

    If the tank temp is held at 80F, in the summer and the house is warm, the tank temp more stable. If the temp is lower the room temp, lights and pumps, will raise the tank to 80F or higher anyway.

    If the power fails in the winter and the tank temp is warmer it will take longer for the temp to drop to dangerously low temps.
