Hey guys im about to pull the trigger on a 48 led kit for my 72 bow… the tanks is 48 long 22 tall and it goes from 12 to about 18” in the center. What has me wondering is, I have a glass overflow along the back that is about 2.5” wide and it is tinted gray glass. I really don’t want shadows begging cast by it but I also want good light distribution to the back. Should I angle the last front row of leds a little so it points, in a sense, under the over flow? But then removes light from the front bow area? Little confusing it might sound but work with me here lol

I'm not sure I understand 100% what you're describing, but you can do that if you don't mind the light not hitting the front part as much. Tilting the LEDs is not a problem at all, just make sure the LEDs are attached to a heatsink and it's the actual heatsink that's tilted and not the LED itself.
