    it can be done.. it only took me 3 months to take a picture of it, gotta sand and stain the stand now.. maybe this year ill put water in the tank.. ;D

    It might be too much light for a 55 IMHO. A friend of mine has 6x54 over his 120g and that seems more than adequate.

    Also, changing bulbs might be a task with not much room between standoffs.

    I was bleaching SPS under a 3x39 retro on my 3 foot 35g back in the day.
