55g bow front, small crack.

    So I have acquired a 55g bowfront for free, YAY!!!! The issue is there is a small crack on the bottom of the tank. It does not appear to go all the way through but its about 4 and a half inches long. I have some silicone sealer for aquariums that i could use on it. Is it beyond saving? should I look for a new aquarium?

    I wouldn't take the chance with a crack that long and not on the bottom panel.

    Definitely look for a new one! I would never take the chance with a crack like that.
