    So started making a stand for my 55 gallon ill be setting up, plans is to drywall the stand with a granite contertop (have lying in back yard) i plan to plywood the top and bottom and set up 2x4 to hang drywall to tomarrow, here is what i got done tonight:

    Total Cost For Frame: $16.74

    Dimensions:
    52in Long x 16in Deep x 36in Tall

    Looks good, as long as the granite has the right support, it will be fine.

    a word of caution, 16 in deep isnt that deep.. are you planning on running a sump? I would pick a sump tank first, then build around that. trust me on that one..

    ive gotta agree with duck here. best to be sure about things like that now before its full finished. easy now to reconfigure, make it a bit deeper if need be. but well constructed , and can tell very sturdy stand ant. good work,
