    Well after a few tests over the last few weeks, I have determined that my tank is now consuming about 0.3 teaspoons of Alkalinity daily. I have done some calculations and I plan on adding 2.75 teaspoons of baking powder my 5 gallon ATS that runs dry every 10 days.

    That's pretty exciting. This is the first time I have noticed growth to the point of altering my water chemistry.
