Will it be possible to create a daily program for the vortechs through your radion program without a ReefLink?

 

This is not possible because EcoTech Marine VorTech pumps utilize wireless RF signals and the ReefLink is the only way to communicate with the VorTech's RF signals.

 

But the radion wirelessly communicates with the vortechs does it not?

 

Correct but it will only sync with the Radion lights and other pumps. It will not allow for programming, custom schedules, and real time changes.

In the future, they will have all of these capabilities possible via EcoSmart Live on your computer, Android device, or iOS device but based on what they tell us, the ReefLink will be required. As of now, the only platform capable of creating and loading VorTech schedules is the iOS App. via ReefLink.

 

Does the reeflink work with first gen radions?
