I just got him in the tank, in the bag he was stressed out by turning brown color. When I put him in the tank, he swam a little and now is hanging out at overflow where water intake is at, just resting his head there. He was very active in the fish shops tank. I drip acclimated him for 30 minute.

    My water is 0 / 0 / 10 nitrate 1.025 salinity 8.2ph temp 82.2

He is probably still adjusting to the new conditions. Give him some time.

It wil take him time to adjust to his new home.
Mine acted weird for 6 hrs or more. His color would jump back and forth and he would chase his reflection in the corner.
It will get better. They are a very cool fish

I usually drip acclimate over a few hours and not as short as 30 mins, however I think like the other have said that he is just getting used to the tank.

He might of been a little shocked changing from the fish store water to yours, but he should be fine.

I've seen many different ppls blennys just kind of "hang out" on rocks or even powerheads. Sometimes they're active, sometimes they just like to kick it, just like us :) haha. Thats just typical blenny behavior. Keep an eye on him, but it sounds like you'll be just fine my man.

My blenny seems fine. He has not hide at all yet. He would swim for 3 minute then rest at the overflow intake for 2-3 minute, then swim more. So far he has his mouth poking out of water swimming around. Does Midas blenny do that? swim at surface with their mouth poking out?

I dont think oxygen is the problem, other fish are fine, + i got skimmer and one of power head is on top. He eats fine

It is having problems with its gills if it is doing that so oxygen could be a problem for the blenny. It sounds very stressed. Turn out your lights for the rest of the day.
