    Bustopher I saw this one and decided to go with the one I'm looking at for several reasons. First is that it is cheaper, and 3 inches isn't that much more. Second is that the black looks awsome. And third is that it has a ledge for plexiglass to slide into and has a place for a hanging kit

    not to highjack your thread but im running a 40b too and i was wondering if 24 cree xp-e's (blue) and 12 cree xg-g cool white 3-4" from the surface with no optics on a 28" heatsink would be sufficient lighting for sps corals?
