i dont get why everyone is hating on ps3's live,
i've played live on xbox and on ps3 there both the same
and every game that is released on multi platforms, the live is exactly the same.

I personally say, "Go with both"...

Wait, why would you have to pay to get it fixed? They send you a pre-labled box and you send it back. Then they fix it for free. What am I missing? Just wondering, what surface did you have it on? I've had mine on a glass desk for ~2 years and never had a problem. I've never had RRoD for that matter, not in my three different box's.

free fixing of your xbox is a limited time opportunity (warranty).

I would never get one bc of that... odds are I'll have to fix it at some point after warrany expires... I play my consoles for years and years (still playing N64 actually). I'm not paying that kind of price down the road (multiple times).

It's a deal breaker for me. I want my consoles to last. I have never ever had a console break on me (never did get a 360) and I can't fathom why so many folks are 'OK' with it, accept it. No way for me.

The warranty is 3 years and should it expire and pay the $140 fee the warranty is renewed for another 3 years. Microsoft repair cost is in line with Sony's. I had to pay $150 for them to fix my PS3 and you only get one year on that warranty.

Ps3 network doesn't even compare to xbox live, I have a 360 and ps3. I got modern warfare 2 for the x box and I haven't even turned on the ps3 since the games came out.
