This 300 MPG Aptera 'car' is so out there, I just might have to put a deposit on it. Seriously. 300 MPG. LED lighting, solar assisted climate control, rear view camera and one wild design.

Since it is classified as an enclosed motorcycle I can take the car-pool lane too.

I think living Northern California is started to affect my judgment. I used to look at Mopar cars. ;D

If you want a mopar, build one... Find a newer model mopar with a v8 that has been totalled. Take the motor, trans, rear end, driveshaft, and computer. Set it up in a old muscle car, you'll get all the benefits of a newer model as far as driveability and mpg, but in a badarse ride!

I had a 78 camaro and found a 96 model impala ss that had been rolled, took everything from it and put it in the camaro. Since the impala had a 4L80E (automatic 4spd with overdrive) I got awesome gas maileage and could drive it anywhere without worrying about it overheating or costing a small fortune in gas.
