I was lucky enough to make it over to a local reefers place this morning!

He's moving to Kentucky for school.

Basically, all that was left in his home were his tanks and elaborate frag set up. His 110 DT on the ground floor, and an elaborate, mutli stock tank/frag tang set up in the basement!!

He and I thought it was going over to buy a Superman Monti frag- for $10!, but we realized it was a Rainbow monti- and I passed.

I HAD to get something else! His frag tanks looked fabulous!

I picked up a Rainbow Poci; a huge hunk of Spongoides; and a Orange branching Monti! All 3 for $20 total!

He had been seeling alot in preps for the move, and he still had loads! You had to have seen this!

Too bad it will all be broken down and on the way to Kentucky by tonight.

And I know, I know, pics or it didn't happen.
I didn't take any pics of his system- I'll post up some pics of the new frags soon.

I think that makes 60 different species total of coral for my DT now.

I think I may have to set up a system something like this. I'm just thinking of all the Beer I could trade the frags for!

Congratulations on your great find! It does sound like a picture would have been neat.

Been out of town, and worked a 13.5 hr. shift yesterday.

Over the weekend, one of my frags dissappeared! I can't find my new
    Orange Branching Monti!

Here's some mediocre pics of the
    Rainbow Poci:

    and the spongoides:

I'll keep looking for that Orange braching, I hope it turn up before it dies! I think it's in my rockwork somewhere, and yes I've looked and moved a few things, etc.

    Found it!

I moved about 5 pieces of rock and several corals, and sure enough, it was along the back wall, on the bottom, in a dark spot too.
I rescued it with some long metal tongs from the kitchen.

It was a Orange branching MOnti- it ain't orange anymore :-(
I put it back up on the frag rack, maybe a few cells lived and it will come around.
I sure hope so, 'cause it was an awesome colored looking coral.

I was determined to find that coral!

It's always in the last place you look.

    Glad you found it Todd.

It will come back! It was only a few days. Wish you the best of luck.
