    im willing to bet that the original damsels did this and then your clean up crew went in afterwards!

    damsels can be quite aggressive. i had a larger one about 4 inches nip at a lion fish back when i had my fowlr they are tuff fish very hardy. im sure the little ones dident even stand a chance. i think after 4 years u would know if you had a mantis just random damage from him

    the case of the three missing damsels has just turned into the case of three missing damsels,one pygmy angel, and a citron goby, and possible a royal gramma(no way to tell he hides):(

    Sounds like you might have a bigger problem on your hands than a bully damsel. how are your paramiters looking? got a grounding probe?
