I had my old 29 gallon laying around for a few months. I didn't have the money or desire to set up another saltwater tank.

So... Using material I had laying around the house I set up a simple freshwater tank. I just put a few neon tetras in it tonight. The plan is to add more driftwood as well as silk plants.

    What does everything think?

Looks good, the neons will be happy with more wood and plants to play in.

Very nice. Neon tetras are surprisingly smart. Atleast mine are. They are very curious and beautiful fish. How many did you add?

I started with six. They were $1 a piece. I've always wanted a school of neon tetras.

I just hope when I add in angelfish they don't make a snack out of the tetras. I've read they can if not careful.
