I started this build back in November. Trying to turn a JBJ 28G nano cube into a freshwater planted tank. I ended up switching the lights from the stock CF PC bulbs to a 10k Halide Bulb. These are the links to the build threads, Since there were 2 threads I couldnt decide which one to update so I decided to start a new thread.

And For the Update,.... I have a few different plants, driftwood, and fish but I figured I would share with you my newest pics and answer any specific questions you have about the set-up.

Thank you both. I Am very happy with this piece of Manzanita branch. I looked around at a few WYSIWYG sites and didnt want to spend $60 on a piece of wood, and I found this piece at BigAls for $20.

And actually, I just recieved this piece of Manzanita today, if you look carefully you can probably see the bunches of java moss tied to the branches.

I really like the look of your tank, the drift wood you've got works really well in this tank!

I don't usually go for FW tanks. But planted tanks are cool. Yours looks pretty unique, I think. :) You've done a nice job.

That tank is nice. amazing pice of driftwood, you could give it an underwater tree look, if you place the java moss at the top. Nice cherry shrimp too. Do you have any cleaning fish in there?

Anyway, that looks awesome. One of the nicest FW tanks I've seen, especially with all the open swimming area. Most FW planted tanks tend to feel almost claustrophobic, IMO.
