I drew up the plans on Monday nigh after work, did all the work you see in the picture yesterday after work. Every inch of 2x4s will be non-visible as they will be housed in 3/4 birch wood.

The front will be comprised of 4 draws on the left side and 4 draws on the right side (per-existing purchased drawers), making 8 in total. There will be too doors in the front center (also per-existing cabinet doors).

Hoping to get everything ready for sanding by this evening. That's when I will pass it over to it's future owner. I just constructed it as a favor.

Thanks all. I have actually only spoken with the guy a few tines. He's a part of our local reef club and due to disability, he isn't able build the stand himself. All costs are incurred by him, it's just labor free.

He's moving in 2 days, so construction has to move quickly. Very short notice.

Thank you. A few minor imperfections, but I like it otherwise.

Nice job buddy. I miss building stuff its so much fun. The drawer fronts, are they cabinet doors cut in thirds?
